Our program is designed with working professionals in mind. Attend evening classes held either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.

Classes for the Penn State Behrend Cybersecurity Bootcamp, offered in partnership with ThriveDX, are offered via virtual classroom sessions, in which learners can participate and engage with their classmates and instructors remotely.

The program is 32 weeks long. You can also extend your training with an additional 8-week CompTIA® Security+ Certification Exam Prep Course that is included in tuition.

Our curriculum is continuously updated to reflect the latest industry standards, tools, and technologies, ensuring you learn the most relevant skills.

You’ll receive a certificate of completion, signaling your readiness for the cybersecurity workforce. Those who enroll in the optional CompTIA® Security+ Certification Exam Prep Course also receive a voucher for the exam, which is widely recognized in the field.

Using our TDX Arena platform, you’ll engage in practical activities and challenges that simulate real-world cybersecurity scenarios, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge directly to industry-relevant tasks.

TDX Arena is our cutting-edge, cloud-based platform where you can hone your offensive and defensive cyber skills in a simulated, real-world environment.

While our curriculum provides a strong foundation for various cybersecurity certifications, only the CompTIA® Security+ Certification Exam Prep Course (with an exam voucher) is included in the tuition.

The program prepares you for certification exams, but only the CompTIA® Security+ Certification exam and related fees are included. Other exams and fees are not covered.

No, the Cybersecurity Bootcamp is available to anyone, regardless of their professional or educational background.

Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to join our program.

Credits earned in the Penn State Behrend Cybersecurity Bootcamp cannot be transferred to other courses or degree programs.

Start by scheduling a personal consultation with an Admissions Advisor to determine if a career in cybersecurity is right for you. After that, you’ll meet with your Senior Enrollment Advisor to discuss the program details and career goals before enrolling.

This is a non-credit program. As a result, per current Treasury Regulations, we do not include information pertaining to this course on IRS Form 1098-T. For detailed information, consult IRS Publication 970, Tax Benefits for Higher Education.

Tuition is $18,720 for the Cybersecurity Bootcamp, not including the $180 for the registration fee. Tuition, fees, and deposits are subject to change.

Yes, we offer several financing options. Some participants may qualify for personal or private education loans. You can also choose to pay in monthly installments at 0% interest or pay in full.

Yes. The referred learner would receive a $1,000 discount off the price of the tuition. Terms and conditions apply.

Yes, our curriculum includes career prep training with sessions on optimizing your LinkedIn profile and tailoring your resume. You can also work individually with our Learner Services team to develop a job search strategy and receive coaching on both behavioral and technical interviews.

Throughout the program, you’ll have access to live virtual events, including alumni panels, industry-specific discussions with experts, networking sessions, career readiness talks, and pop-up info sessions with potential employers.

No, all career support services are included in the cost of tuition.

While we provide extensive job search support during and up to six months after the program, we cannot guarantee job placement. Our Learner Services team is here to assist you every step of the way.

Select cohorts will use a rolling cohort delivery model. Participants will learn from a university-approved instructor and alongside students from other participating universities across the country. After completing the requirements, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Penn State Behrend Cybersecurity Bootcamp.

ThriveDX is a global leader in cybersecurity education. Our accelerated programs, offered in partnership with ThriveDX, are designed to reskill and upskill individuals for today’s rapidly growing digital economy.

This 32-week accelerated program is designed to equip learners with the in-demand skills and hands-on experience needed for a successful career in cybersecurity. After completing the program, participants can continue to receive career development support for up to six months, helping them secure a position in the cybersecurity field.
