Where can I take classes?

Classes for the Penn State Behrend Cybersecurity Bootcamp, offered in partnership with ThriveDX, are offered via self-study and virtual classroom sessions, in which learners can participate and engage with their classmates and instructors remotely.

When do classes start?

Courses begin on a rolling basis.

Do I need an undergraduate degree or any other prerequisite to be eligible to apply?

You do not need any experience in the field and there are no prerequisites required to enroll in any of the bootcamp.

How many credit hours is the program? Can I apply credits from the program to a degree I am currently pursuing?

The bootcamp is a non-credit, non-degree program.

The Digital Skills Bootcamp is offered through the Continuing Education services of Penn State Beaver, Penn State Behrend, Penn State Greater Allegheny, and Penn State New Kensington.

How much is tuition?

Tuition is $18,720 for the Cybersecurity Bootcamp, not including the $180 for the introductory course.

Do I need to be a student to apply to a Digital Skills Bootcamp?

No. Our program is open to people of any professional or educational background, regardless of enrollment status.

Is this program suitable for me if I am employed full time?

Our program is designed with working professionals in mind. Attend virtual classes for the Cybersecurity Bootcamp on weekday evenings.

Do I need to buy any supplies, such as books or software?

Yes. You will need to have a computer with the minimum requirements, as well as reliable internet access.
